Seasonal teachings
I share Yoga according to the changing seasons, practicing what is appropriate at the present moment. I use Vedic Astrology, Jyotiṣ, and the science of Āyurveda in planning the teaching schedule so that you can enjoy and benefit from practices which are appropriate for the present moment and season. Each season comprises of 3 months of 6 classes, plus special storytelling sessions, mantra chanting and mini workshops.

Monthly themes
Each month will have a different theme where you will journey through the teachings of Yoga, with practical wisdom for a modern living. The themes are informed by holidays and festivals from the Indian Vedic calendar, which follows the movement of the Moon. The themes are explored through stories, teachings, Yoga asana, Prānayama, Meditation and Yoga Nidrā.

Yoga asana
In this studio we have a different approach to asana. We practice Yoga beyond the shapes of our body, to facilitate internal awareness and revelation. We do not force, we do not push past our boundaries and I teach asana in an accesible and approachable manner for all levels and abilities. Here, the focus is on how it feels, rather than how it looks.

Hatha Yoga
In our Hatha Yoga classes we use the practices of Yoga, Prānayama and Krīya to clear out blockages that prevent us to live a healthy and vibrant life. We encourage continuous flow of Life Force known as Pranā, through our energetic channels. Our focus in Hatha are the left and right channel connected to our brain hemispheres. They are known as nādis. The most important one is central channel, known as suṣumna nādi, energetically located in our spine.

Supreme Release Yoga
SRY is a therapeutic approach to Yoga, where the focus is decompressing the spine through supported asana, and calming the mind through deep internal awareness. It stimultates the parasymphatetic nervous system, protects and lubricates the joints, promotes release of long held patterns of tension and it is deeply revelatory.

Yoga Nidrā
Yoga Nidrā is a state often translated as Yogic Sleep. Once a month you can enjoy a guided awareness of Yoga Nidrā which may allow you to enter a deep sleep state, yet having your awareness to awakened. This guided awareness has the potential to offer deep relaxation & letting go, access to Delta brainwaves encouraging healing on all levels of the body and promoting good quality sleep.

Live classes + access to a library of videos
Each month you have the option to attend live classes with Q&A time at the end, but if you can’t join, then you can catch up by accessing aytime your library of videos. You will always have access to the current season. The live classes happen on Mondays from 6:30pm - Hatha Yoga, and Supreme Release Yoga on Thursdays from 11am GMT.

All of the classes in the online studio are recorded and available in the library so that you can practice at your own convenience. You will always have access to the latest 4 months series.

You can cancel anytime before the next month’s series is released.

You will need a device on which you can join the Zoom sessions. Ideally prepare a safe space, free of clutter with a yoga mat or rug. You will need a few yoga blocks, some firm blankets or flattened bolsters, meditation cushion and a chair. Come as you are.
